Teacher Referral Program

Guidelines for Referral

• You must be employed within the APS family at the time the bonus is to be paid out.

• All APS employees ( 21+) are eligible to receive the referral bonus.

• The referred candidate must work at APS for at least six months for the referrer to be paid the bonus (the bonus will be taxed).

• All referrals submitted will be considered eligible for the Referral Bonus for up to one year after the submission date.

• If we have already made contact with a teacher who is referred, that referral will not be eligible for a bonus.

• Bonuses are awarded to full-time staff only.

• If more than one person refers a teacher candidate, the bonus will be awarded to the person who made the first referral.

• Referred teachers cannot be current or prior APS employees.

• Decision makers in the hiring process are not eligible for the referral at their school, however, they can refer teachers to other schools in the APS network.

• APS reserves the right to modify, change or end this program.
