Athletics
Tacony Academy Charter School, an American Paradigm School, offers interscholastic athletics for students in grades 6-12. Tacony High School is a proud member of the Philadelphia Public League, District 12, and the PIAA. Tacony Elementary continues to offer athletic opportunities to its elementary students as a member of the Metropolitan Philadelphia Athletic Association (MPAA). Our students compete in athletics, while always striving to demonstrate our Caring School Community.
Winter Sports Dates:
- Tacony Academy Boys Tip Off Tournament December 2nd and 3rd
- PCSCA Girls Holiday Basketball Tournament December 22nd and 23rd
- Wildwood Boardwalk Basketball Classic December 30th and 31st
- Senior Day for basketball will be held on Monday, January 23rd.
- Senior Day for bowling will be held on Thursday January 26th at Thunderbird Lanes Holme Avenue.
- Coaches vs, Cancer Event January TBA
- Tacony Academy JV Basketball Tournament February 10th and 11th
